Lovely young, healthy, Rhipsalis flocossa plant, about 19 cm high (max.).Well rooted cutting taken last summer.Medium grower and easy-care. Also called the Mistletoe cactus. Produces pendulous leafless green stems to 50 cm that hang down wards (ideal for a hanging basket). Produces pink/white 1.5 cm flowers in early spring followed by pink-tinged white berry fruit - hence the mistletoe connection. One of a group of epiphytic (grows on tree branches) cacti from Brazil/Argentina. This plant has two 'old' stems, the larger of which has three new shoots just starting at the tip and the smaller has two new stems growing already, plus there is a new shoot coming out from the base of the plant. This plant should 'bush-up' quite rapidly next summer. Likes a moist acid soil, avoid drying out. BUT decrease water in the winter. This plant cannot tolerate any frost. Will post to UK & EU addresses only. Will be sent bare rooted and without pot to save postage. Postage only £0.60 for each additional purchase. Auction ends Sunday evening, plant packed Monday evening and posted, first class, Tuesday morning. (Conditional on payment obviously) Generally plant will be sent the morning following payment if made before 5 pm. |
