Condition: Disclaimer:  Jamaican (and often Canadian) pressed Reggae records are unlike any records pressed in the world.  Much of the time records would come from the plant in a condition less than mint.  I take this into account when grading.  If there are pressing defects typical of Jamaican presses (ie: bubbles, crooked labels, discoloring) I will not make note.  If the defects seem to be caused by the records previous owner, I will consider that in grading.  With this said, there may not be many Near Mints in this collection, but even these oddly pressed records most often sound fantastic.  Something about the tape used to record the original masters make Jamaican Reggae records unique.

   This may also be true of the oddly pressed covers of many reggae LPs.  So a Mint Blue Note LP and  A Mint Power House Lp are two very diferent things.
