At long last! Revell have at last reissued Matchbox 1/76th scale vehicles. This is the same mould as Matchbox used to sell in the 70's and 80's. Why pay up to £10 for the Matchbox kit when you can buy the same model brand new, sealed and in mint condition. And yes, it does come with the dioramma base to display your completed model kit - in the case of the Puma, this is a section of street with two pavements and a broken lampost. Also includes three German soldiers.

A stunning example of a Sd Kfz 234/2 Puma Armoured Car used widely in all theatres in WWII. Armed with a 50mm KwK 39/1 cannon and a 7.92mm MG42, the Puma was used extensively in the role of Reconnaissance. It was built with a 12 cyclinder air cooled engine designed to allow it to servie in both the tropical climate of North Africa and the Steppes of Russia. Each Panzerspahwagen company consisted of 25 Pumas and these were allocated to 4 Panzer Divisions that fought on both the Eastern and Western fronts. 101 were produced between September 1943 and September 1944.

This model is far superior to the Airfix Sdkfz 234/4 and is ideal to use as a base for converting the two kits into the right type of 234/4 with the single large mudguards rather than the two separate ones that Airfix supply.  Now you can convert those Airfix kits into something useful!

There are very few  other plastic injection model kits of the Puma in this scale. Whether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.

Includes instructions and decals. The kit is, however, only moulded in one colour unlike the old Matchbox kits that were moulded in 2 colours. Decals have changed from the old Matchbox kit (which were not suitable for Germany) and are now supplied for :

• Panzer Aufklarungsabteilung 20 der 20 Panzer Division
