Revell 1/76 M19 45 ton Tank Transporter

At long last! Revell have at last reissued Matchbox 1/76th scale vehicles. This is the same mould as Matchbox used to sell in the 70's and 80's.  And yes, it does come with it's own diorama base for displaying your completed model - in the case of the M-19, a rough patch of ground.

The M19 was built to a British specification by the Diamond T Motor Car Company and were used by the Soviets as well as the British and Americans. The combination of M20 tractor and 45 ton M9 trailer was capable of carrying all tanks in service at that time. The M19 continued in service for another 30 years after WWII including serving with the German army.

Used extensively anywhere the US Army had tanks, the M-19 was critically important in helping to recover knocked out or immobilised tanks and self propelled guns to be repaired and put back into service against the German Panzers

Includes instructions and decals.

Unlike the old Matchbox kit this one is moulded in one colour  and not three. 

The kit itself is solid and goes together brilliantly.
