Revell 21cm Morser 18

Brand new, sealed and unbuilt.

The 21cm Morser 18 was produced from 1939 and used on all fronts as one of the German army's main heavy artillery pieces.  The weapon was constructed of an upper and lower mount with a double recoil system. To bring the Morser 18 into a firingf position, the platform was lowered and secured to the ground with stabilisers. The wheels were then raised and the lower mount suspended from the limber. The Morser 18 had a maximum range of 16,700 metres and could  fire the 210mm shell 18 or the 210mm shell 18 concrete.

Given it's size the Morser 18 was normally transported in two loads. However, if needed in a hurry the Morser 18 could be towed by the Sd Kfz 9 "Famo" (see my other items for sale).
