Stag

Stag was a mass market furniture company that produced some outstanding modern designs. They employed John and Sylvia Reid as design consultants. Their first designs for Stag, the 'C' range, were minimalist in the extreme. This is an early example of the dressing table produced for the 'C' range in the 1950's, good solid construction, veneered in walnut with recessed hand grips and stark black lacquered outlining. In good original condition with some signs of wear consistent with age, please see pictures. A truly minimal design to suite the modernist home of today.
