Retro Casserole Dish







Description

This retro Eames era casserole dish is by Ernest Sohn Creations and made in the USA.  It can be used  with or without the warming stand as desired.  The casserole is white pottery and the lid is a lovely hardwood as are the legs of the stand.  The inside of the lid has some steam marks indicating that it must have been used but, overall, the whole unit is in excellent condition.  The pottery dish has no chips , cracks or crazing.  The dish measures 9" in diameter at the top and is 4 1/4" high.  It looks like about a two quart casserole.  It would make an elegant addition to your retro decor and is a quality piece of mid century modernism.
