A fab retro planter, with handpainted decoration of purple and black spiky stripes. Measuring 4 1/2" tall, the planter is in excellent condition. There is one small nibble on the rim, nothing to detract from this survivor of the Swinging Sixties!  The inside of the planter is glazed in cream, with a ribbed texture.  There is a faint maker's mark underneath, which shows the outline of a Tudor Rose and three words. The middle one, I think, might be Devon?
