A Retro 1960 Pin Art Wall hanging Atomic Panton Eames Era

This wall hanging is both a beautiful piece of design, showing one of the hobbies of the time "Pin Art".

It was designed in the late 60s around the "Atomic Era" when many objects around the house were hand made. this was the age of experimentation and new fangled crafts!

Someone - I have no idea who...went to the trouble of cutting some plywood to size, then covering it in black baise. They then hammered in numberous nails in a double triangle shape. once this was acieved they then set obout winding vaious metallic coloured threads around the nails to give the desiogn you see in the photos.

All the rage in the 60s and 70s as wall hangings.

The wall hanging measures approximately 10 inches wide by 28 inches tall.

All-in-all a wonderful period accessory that would look great in any Retro home, a real "funky" item from back in the day!
