Three sizes available


These high quality hand crafted restraints use traditional and modern materials and techniques. The best of both worlds.

Giving our customers several size ranges of these restraints allows our customers to get a far closer fit than with the one size fits most. And being able to mix and match sizes for wrist and ankle insures proper fit without bulk.

Some people are not aware that wrist and ankle restraints are the same, and only size range changes (unless its a specialty restraint). At present, this line comes in small 5.5 to 6.5 inches, medium 6.5 to 8.5 inches and large at 8.5 to 10.5 inches. All these sizes are available in our eBay store.

At the request of several customers, we have created a lighter version of our popular padded restraint line. We found that reducing the padding to 1/4 inch thick and narrowing down the size range made a lighter restraint. But did not reduce the high quality we are well known for.

Griffin Leather and Metal offers choice in products...not just the same product in a different color.

1 inch black latigo strap.

Cuffs are 2 inch wide made of factory black latigo.

All latigo leather is treated to rounding and burnishing...no sharp edges.

Padding is a 1/4-inch neoprene padding used in commercial applications. It is a closed cell design that resists "crush" and retains its shape and springs back. Firm but soft. In addition the liner is bonded to the padding to resist heavy folds "wrinkles" and more even pressure disbursement.

Padding liners are garment grade leather, sewn with a commercial walking foot sewing machine. Our machine located in our shop.

Same heavy commercial grade hardware we use on all of our gear including the heavy gage welded "D" rings.

The padding is 2 and 1/4 inches wide for a rolled or piping effect at the edges. Very comfortable.

Wrist sized for 6.5 to 8.5 inches.

At the largest size, the wrist pads butt up end to end.

This allows us to hand pick many of the hides we use prior to the rest being shipped to other customers in Texas, the US and other parts of the globe.
Many of the skills we have acquired have been from the teachings of skilled craftsmen and women in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Some having been in the business of making saddles, boots and tack gear since the 50s and 60s.
We use both traditional and non-traditional methods when creating our leather and metal products. This progressive way of thinking allows our clients to have the best of both worlds without compromise in quality, durability and style.

Shipping is fairly straightforward. What they charge us, we charge you. If you are not on the US mainland, please contact us about shipping.
Most of what we ship is flat rate USPS shipping in the states. You have the option for insurance, and I personally think it’s a good idea…but its your call.
We generally ship within 5 business days, but things happen. Sometimes we run a few days later than that. And that’s because we will not send something out that people are not happy with.
