Rene Lalique "Saint Francois" Opalescent Vase Signed

Offered for your consideration, is this exceptionally gorgeous and rare vase by Rene Lalique, known by the title ‘Saint Francois’. This art deco era vase, circa1920 -30s, is decorated in opalescent ‘finches’ over clear glass with raised ‘vines’. This vase is rarely seen on the market at any price and would be an excellent addition to your collection.  I have lowered the reserve price by $300.

Condition (see picture details):

Tiny chip (1/8") at the top rim (not at edge, but centered) with no cracks

Tiny chip (1/8") at the base rim (at outer edge) , not visible when displayed, with no cracks

No scratches, flaws, or cracks throughout remainder of vase

This is the only one I have seen in person, but is offered from my grandmothers’ estate. It has been stored so long, I did not even know it was here (I’m 52)! We have priced the vase based on the estimated market and condition, keeping in mind we are not experts in “Lalique”.
