Here is one of the best known and most revered bottles designed by René Lalique. It is called "Deux Fleurs" ("Two Flowers") and was created in September 1935 exclusively for the House of Lalique as a container for one's favourite fragrance. It was not, as so many other bottles he designed, made specifically for one parfumeur or one fragrance.
It is repertoried and photographed in the "Lalique Bible", the book by Felix Marcilhac, on page 339 of the French 2004 printing under reference 529, changed in 1947 to 651 and in 1951 to 11-301.
The dimensions are 9 cm (3.6") both in height and in length, and it is 2 cm (0.8") thick. It is signed underneath "Lalique France" in script, which establishes production in the 1950s (Those before Lalique's death were in raised capitals and, then in etched print until 1951).
The stopper is removable and the condition is mint.
