We offer 3 different options on most calipers.

Option 1;

Our premium Polymer coating service, available in Post Box Red, Racing Green, Mid Blue or Black.

Oven cured and designed to withstand Heat,Brake fluid,Road salt & Dirt (contains PTFE)

Technical data; DTD5562 & MSRR9226

Includes 6 months intermittent salt spray (DEF1053 method 36)

Resistance to humidity, Trichloroethylenen & re-chromating

Option 2;

Electroplating in either Silver or Gold, this is how most modern calipers leave the factory. 

Option 3;

Standard Silver or Gold, athough this does look like Electroplating it offers no special properties and is designed for the budget concious seeking practicality over appearance.

Cashback Explained

If we offer a cashback on a particular caliper, that cashback is subject to the exact same item being returned. The cashback is also subject to the caliper being in a remanufacturable condition, that excludes broken castings or bleed screws.

If you return other or damaged calipers you will not receive any cashback.

Cashback refunds

Cashbacks are available upto 6 months from the date of purchase. All refunds are made in the exact same manner as the original payment. When returning please include your full contact details and the original invoice number or date of purchase.If payment was made through credit/debit card please include those details to allow us to process the refund quickly.

All Bigg Red seals kits contain all the rubber components necessary to totally strip and rebuild your caliper, in most cases they also contain the slider seals.Should you also require Pistons please contact us directly.

Not sure this is the correct kit or Caliper?

We can in most cases identify most calipers fitted as original equipment. To assist we need the following information as a minimum.

Make, model, year, chassis number, solid or vented discs fitted.

Many manufacturers fit various makes of caliper to the same model & year. In this instance we will need confirmation of the make of caliper fitted. All calipers have the make cast into the unit, although you may need to wipe or wire brush to make visible.

Whilst fronts kits are reasonably straightforward

In the interests of safety we would recommend you consult a technical publication such as Haynes if you have no previous experience.If in any doubt how to proceed correctly please consult a suitably qualified company to complete the work for you.

We would strongly suggest you adopt this policy for all rear kits with hand brake mechanisms

Great care should be taken during assembly to ensure you do not pinch the internal bore seals, this will most probably result in a leaking caliper.

Cleanliness is key any dirt or grit remaining in the caliper will also most probably result in a leaking caliper
