The remote control RM-E5 is a fully functional equivalent of the original:
WL-DC 100, RC-1, REMOTE F, REMOTE E, ML-L3, RM-1, RM-2, RC-3.

This type of remote control has an immediate shutter release from the distance up to 25 metres (the distance depends on the camera settings) .The RM-E5 is a perfect match for the camera.It's practical and useful in any situation.It enables you to photograph yourself, without using the auto shutter release.It is also a handy solution for taking night-pictures or photographing the nature.

The case ( with the attachment to the camera belt) and the CR2025 battery are joined to the set.

The remote control is divided in the sections corresponding with particular cameras (Olympus, Konica Minolta, Nikon, Pentax, Canon – see the picture).Pushing the S button allows focusing and releases the shutter in the camera (for the Pentax and Samsung cameras only the shutter release function is available.The 2S button allows to release the shutter with a 2-second-delay.

Certain cameras has also a function of zoom control. More information on cooperation with the remote control you will find in your cameras manual handbook. The list of all the cameras compatibile with the remote control :
