RESTLESS - Album Description
(read while you listen)

This is music for listening and contemplation. Melodic, deep, thoughtful - it has all the elements of the wonderful and warm music of Greece, Mediterranean and the Balkans.

But, Restless is a contemporary album as well. Viktor has tried to achieve a natural synthesis between the two musical worlds: Eastern and Western.

This is done by carefully mixing the sophisticated scales, rhythms and Balkan grooves into the delicate movements of Jazz, Blues and contemporary Pop music.

But also by playing the Greek Bouzouki and Guitar in a way that is touching both cultures.

The purpose of this music is to take the listener to a Journey by creating Musical Images and Landscapes: gentle, subtle, yet colourful and full of light and sunshine.

The philosophical aspect, in the light of the Quatrology album is movement and dynamics. After the initial sadness and melancholy in Longing, one starts moving. Moving is everything: we need it in order to get out of the lethargy. Moving is thinking, creating, meeting people - all activity in the name of searching that source of that Restlessness within us.
