I am delighted to offer for auction this lovely lot of all three book in the Red Mars trilogy.This well written and highly regarded set was given high praise including `One of the finest works of American SF` Times literary supplement ,`Red mars may simply be the best novel written about mars`Interzone , `A staggering book.The best novel on the colonization of mars that has ever been written`Arthur C Clarke helping Red Mars win the Nebular award whilst Green and Blue went on to win the Hugo Award.The books are as follows...

All three books as stated are first uk edition,first printings.I haven`t shown individual photos of the copyright pages but i guarantee they are firsts from 1992,1993 and 1996 all with the appropriate numberlines of 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2.All the books are in near fine condition showing minimal signs of ownership and ever so slight handling wear.The dustjackets are all originals and all remain unclipped apart from Red Mars.All are again in near fine condition with a hint of handling wear.

So there we have it.A superb collectable set that will only ever increase in value past the good prices already asked.The cheapest full set i can find are listed at $1000 with Red mars alone fetching a couple of hundred pounds.No reserve and a silly start on this one so good luck and please take some time to browse my other items for many collectable firsts from the likes of Ian Fleming,A A Milne,Philip Pullman,J K Rowling,J D Salinger etc.
