"Red" Lampwork Glass Shingle Beads

       Here you can obtain one of my latest shingle bead sets. These shingle beads are made from a mixture of Effetre and Vetrofond glass. Fast becoming a big hit with customers and after getting so many customers asking for more colours I decided to list a new range here in my shop. I hope you enjoy using these great little beads in lots of different ways.

    There are 12 beads in this set and they were made on 1.6 mm size mandrels giving a hole size of around 2mm, this size hole is preferred by a lot of jewellery makers. The beads are all around 6mm by 10mm in size, making them ideal for most types of bead jewellery.  All beads will be sent to you strung on 1mm round leather cord. Due to the nature of hand crafted beads you will understand the sizes will always vary a little, but I will always try to give a truthful measurement in my descriptions.

   Like all the beads I make here in my Fenland barn studio, these beads are all fully kiln annealed in a digital controlled paragon kiln, all my beads are placed into the kiln straight from the flame. After taking my beads from the kiln they are then machine cleaned and washed, giving the buyer the option of using them in their jewellery on arrival.

   I would like to thank you all for the support you have given me by using my beads in your work. My aim is to make top quality beads at sensible prices, giving more people the chance to use lampwork beads in their jewellery and until I hear a good reason why I shouldn't, this is what I will continue to do.
