Self sealing surface marker buoy as used by me. The pic is me surfaced at the Pinnacles, The Farne Islands. The one shown in the pic is a prototype. The ones for sale have "DIVER BELOW" on one side and RED HAT DIVING" on the other.
If you see this picture used to advertise another make of smb on ebay then beware they are not Red Hat Diving ones and customers tell me they are not the same quality either.
Orangey red or Neon yellow. You choose. The red ones have black printing and the yellow ones have red printing. If you dont choose a red one will be sent.
Seams tape sealed internally then bonded. Burst these seams and I'll replace it free of charge. Dump valve fitted.

For those unfamiliar with the concept of a self sealing delayed smb, you inflate before ascending (Six inches above the open end is a flexible baffle) and as the smb shoots to the surface the air expands and closes off the baffle so the smb doesn't spill it's air at the surface thus remaining inflated. Fitted with dump/over pressure valve.

I always aim to ship your goods within 24 hours of a cleared payment being received by me. I usually send items next working day though bear in mind I do take some time off on weekends.
All goods have proof of posting so if they have not arrived when you think they should have please contact me before you leave negative feedback. I always respond to feedback in kind.
Nochex or Paypal for next day postage or personal cheque made out to John Hewitt. Which will need 6 working days to clear before posting. If you are paying by cheque please send it to me, not Paypal as they will then charge me for processing it and it takes longer. My bank will process it free. EXCHANGES
Buying from a picture sometimes means an item is not exactly as you expected or the size is not what you thought. If this is the case I will exchange for another size if you return the item with a packing note and the size you prefer. If the item isn’t faulty I will ask for return postage to be paid by you
RETURNS
If you not completely happy with any Red Hat Diving product you may return it within 7 days of receipt. A full refund will be given providing it is in the same condition as when posted and suitable for resale. The postage paid is non refundable and responsibility for returning the item is yours.
