Rear Upper Tailgate Replacement Gas Struts...

 

Ever banged your head while unloading you boot ! 

 

If you have you noticed that the tailgate does not automatically lift as high as it used to then the tailgate struts are probably a little worn, as the seals wear out then their lifting power is reduced.

 

These are rear upper tailgate replacement gas struts as fitted to all MkII P38 Range Rovers manufactured between 1994 & 2001. Land Rover part number ALR1050. Fitting is very easy, you simply remove the retaining clips, swap your old strut for new and then replace the retaining clips. Repeat this process for the second strut and your finished. Your rear tailgate will fully lift up again as it used to. No special tools are required and fitting time less than a couple of minutes per strut.

If you are a Classic Range Rover Owners tailgate struts are also available for the Classic Range Rover - Land Rover part number MXC7833, please state 'classic' when ordering.
