Rare VIKING Gaming Piece
DESCRIPTION VIKING gaming piece from the game of HNEFATAFI, An old Norwegian name which literally translates to "The Kings Chequered Table" Similar to our modern day chess. Made of hollow lead and dated to the 8th-9th Century. 16mm diameter at base and 15 mm high. 100% guaranteed. Rare and complete. Found years ago at the Viking wintering camp next to the river Trent in Lincolnshire.
