Rare Syroco Figure Tall Ship Navigator Sailor

For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this very hard to find Syroco figure.  Syroco (Syracuse Ornamental Company) made a host of these type of items using a process of woodlike composition in molds made from original wood carvings.  Most common are the wall decor items.  Figural pieces like these are very hard to find.  I have collected, bought and sold Syroco pieces for nearly 40 years now and I have never had one of these...just seen pictures of it.   It is about 10 1/2 inches tall and it is a solid piece..not hollow.  It is a figure of an American Indian Chief.  It is the same pose as was used in statuary in front of cigar stores for many years.  I do have another rare Syroco figure from this line for sale now in another listing.  

At the time this was made Syroco was using a stick on paper label..usually missing as it is on this piece.  However, several of my wife's family worked at Syroco (now out of business)  which led to my particular interest in their products.  These are guaranteed to be Syroco and not Burwood, Homco, or one of the other imitators. 

Condition is minty..no damage and no wear on the paint or figure. :-)
