Orthodox 100% authentic bronze icon - cross Crucifixion with Mouners and selected icons. You have excellent chance to buy really old icons from Russia collectors private collection. In the central part -Crucifixion. In sides of Christ hands traditionally for Russian crosses letters IC ;XC and prayer ("We worship Your Crucifix,The Lord"). In lower part of cross - Golgotha, Jerusalem and skull of Adam . In upper part of cross The Lord of Sabaoth, two angels in flight and Holy Spirit in an image of a dove .Reverse side with traditional liturgical text . Pairs of mourning The Virgin,St. Mary,St. John the Theologian and saint martyr Longinus the Centurion on attached folds.Five medallions in the upper part represent Entry into Jerusalem,The Resurrection,The Ascension,The Presentation of Our Lord ,The Old Testament Trinity .Excellent finding for real collectors!
