This sacred Buddha is 41.95 mm tall x 18.6 mm wide x 18.15 mm deep. weight 0.98 oz. This old Sacred Buddha is a perfect size for your altar.
This is a very rare antique Buddha made out of solid bronze. This statue of Buddha comes from the Golden Triangle Area where Burma, Laos and Thailand meet. It is a rare Burmese Buddha.
Buddha Statue Amulets. These Buddha statue amulets were originally made to be buried beneath temples and many have been found inside much larger Buddha statues. The reason they were often placed inside other much larger Buddha statues is they were thought of as ‘Storage batteries of Buddhist energy’. A single small Buddha or a few small Buddha’s inside a large statue gave the statue more powerful energy. Small Buddha statue, amulets were also made for domestic worship in the home and were also carried for protection. Small Buddha statue, amulets were and still are left at temples as votive offerings. Most of these small sacred Buddha statues are made from solid bronze (It is known that old Tibetan and Nepalese ‘singing bowls’ were often melted down to make these small Buddha statue amulets.) Bronze is not an easy metal to work with and the modelling of many of these small Buddha statues is often very eccentric, and it is not always easy to link the statue to any of the known major historical styles of Buddha images. The fact that so many of these Buddha statue amulets were made over the centuries is a tribute to the piety of the Buddhist artisans who made them.
Temple excavations in Burma This is a rare Burmese Buddha statue that comes from the private collection of Lama Thubten Dagom Rinpoche. This sacred Buddha was excavated from beneath an ancient Buddhist temple in Burma. Lama Thubten feels that it is now the correct time for this old Buddha statue to be released to the world. This rare Buddha statue has been FULLY BLESSED & EMPOWERED. The reason for the release is that the world is now a dark and dangerous place and Lama Thubten would like spiritual and sacred people to be part of the new awakening. This sacred Buddha has a huge amount of power, and when you see and hold it you will feel a sacred power like you have never felt in your life. There are very few people in the world who can feel, sense and need this sacred and special power. The Buddha is 100% genuine and original as found. The surface has expected corrosions, weathering, wear, degradation and abrasions as a consequence of age. Some minor original sedimentary dispositions remain on part of the surface.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not clean or dust any of our old excavated Buddha statues. Some excavated Buddha statues can be very delicate and can be damaged by dusting or cleaning. The dust and the original patina on an excavated Buddha increases its power and is a special part of the ancient sacred Buddha The Dhammayangyi Temple in Bagan Burma.
The Dhammayangyi Temple is the most massive structure in Bagan which has a similar architectural plan to the Ananda Temple. This Temple was never fully completed.
