Rare French Art Pottery Grotesque Head Very Unusual

This is a rare French art studio pottery of what looks like a devils head grotesque,it is hollow and has two strange holes at the back base not sure what they would be for ?.It has very sharp features and is a slate grey colour and quite an unusual item,the base has hand scribed d' est a ne.The size is 5" high x just under 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep.In good condition no damage or repair,international bidders welcome.Check out my other items!
