We are pleased to offer this wonderful 17" Royal Doulton Vase. It can be dated to 1916/17 as it is fully stamped on the base and the lower case letter 'r' refers to the year it was made. It also has the artists initials BN which stands for Bessie Newbury who had a long and illustrious career with the Doulton Factory and painted for them between 1882 & 1922. Interestingly the vase has a tube line design which is more readily associated with Moorcroft. The colours are wonderful and the blending from dark blue to light stunning. The glaze almost has a lustre effect. This highly collectable and very sort after vase will be a wonderful investment for the future.
