Small Rare Antique Delft Tin Glazed Hydra Jug

Details

This auction is for a rare Georgian Jug. It is Delft tin glazed earthenware.

It is printed with a pattern in cobalt blue.

I particularly like the hydra handle which gives the the jug a bit of a gothic feel..

The jug is 4 1/2 inches in height.

There are no makers marks.

Condition

The jug is generally in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Fairly typical of this type of piece, there is some rubbing to the glaze and slip particularly around the rim. Please see my photos.
