Rare Early 9ct Gold Ladies Rolex Wristwatch 1917 Repair

Dial: excellent, original, silvered dial with some light natural patina and light speckling. Nice, original, blue-steel hands. Acrylic crystal.

CASE AND BRACELET: excellent, original, solid 9ct rose gold double-hinged case fully stamped with the Birmingham 9ct gold hallmarks for 1917 and the case maker's mark ALD for the renowned Dennison Watch Case Co. Only light surface scratches and a couple of tiny pin bruises. Contemporary, 9ct rose gold spring-link bracelet in generally excellent condition with no spring stretch or defective spring links - the bracelet has, however, come apart at one point where one of the small cross-bars on one of the links is broken. This requires a small solder repair.

MOVEMENT: cosmetically excellent, early, high-quality, original, Swiss, manual-wind lever movement stamped ROLEX 15 JEWELS Swiss Made. The movement is complete but currently not in running order. All the mechanicals appear to be in order apart from the balance staff where a pivot is bent or broken - this requires attention.
