Rare Breed Manx Loaghtan Wool

650g bag - (not washed, carded or treated)
Contains moulted wool collected from the fences where the sheep rubbed themselves prior to shearing.
The wool is rough quality with some straw and dried mud.

The wool comes from our flock of beautiful rare breed Manx Loaghtan sheep which graze naturally in meadows near Exmoor. They are not sheep dipped and are reared in an organic way (although we are not registered as organic). No chemicals are used on the land.

The wool is highly regarded by hand spinners and weavers and comes in natural shades of brown (dark chocolate brown near the skin to light golden brown on the outer wool).
