Rare Antique Hallmarked Silver Gilt Snuff Box
 
Beautiful antique silver gilt snuff box. The snuff box has a plumed style fleur de lis hallmark with an R on each side. It also has 2 additional markings along the border of the inside. It opens and closes perfectly. It has a cabochon sapphire thumb lift button at the front. It measures 3 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch deep. This dates from the mid 19th century. It is beautifully engraved with a foliate design on one side and an intricate detailed hand engraved design on the other. Weight 61 grams. This is a very rare antique snuff box in excellent condition. Guaranteed to please as are all our items.
