Rare Funerary Figurine from an egyptian Tomb - Faience Type -   Feet missing

This is an Original Ancient Egyptian, circa 305 B.C date from the known Ptolemaic Period of egypt, Ushabti Figurine, used for funerary services to a pharoah. The figure still displays much its original blue color and has good detail, of face & body resembling in detail the typical sarcophocus of the period. Presented in VF ( very fine ) State of preservation/condition.

The ushabti (also called shabti or shawabti, with a number of spellings) funerary figurines were placed in tombs among the grave goods and were intended to act as substitutes for the deceased, should he/she be called upon to do manual labor in the afterlife. They were used from the Middle Kingdom (around 1900 BC) until the end of the Ptolemaic Period, 2000 years later.

  The Ptolemaic dynasty (Ancient Greek: Πτολεμαῖοι, sometimes also known as the Lagids, Ancient Greek: Λαγίδαι, from the name of Ptolemy I's father, Lagus) was a Greek royal family which ruled the Ptolemaic Empire in Egypt during the Hellenistic period. Their rule lasted for nearly 300 years, from 305 BC to 30 BC.
