Description

You are bidding for an unusual item. This is a AVO transistor tester from their later designs. The tester appears to work, but I have no instructions for it. The tester needs two separate 6 volt batteries, and the tops of two batteries are included so that you can make up your own supplies and just clip them in place if you prefer to use some more modern method of supply. A nice piece of kit in an aluminium cast frame.

Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Eire, Finland, France, Germany,  Hong Kong, Holland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States of America. (Please note due to continuous delivery problems in Greece I will only accept bids from Greece on the basis that goods are posted to the UK and the bidders have advised me before bidding)

The above eligibility rules are part of my fundamental conditions for your bidding. Any breech will be reported to ebay as an abuse of their business conditions and may result in a strike on your ebay record or possible removal from ebay.

Postage

You have seen, or been advised at your request, the postage charges relating to your country and you are bidding because you consider that these charges are fair and reasonable and that you would not bid unless you are completely happy with these charges. Payment

A UK based successful bidder has 7 days from the day after the auction closes, to have funds deposited with me Buyers from  outside of the UK mainland also has 7 days to deposit funds with me. Any failure to supply funds by the specified time will result in poor feedback after one reminder to pay L.

General Conditions of the auction – by bidding you agree to abide by these rules

The seller is always concerned that any buyer is entirely happy with a purchase arising from my ‘Description’. However, your bidding price should reflect your expectations given by my ‘Conditions’. All items are entirely described by the written description and photograph, no refunds are possible for any miss-‘Description’ except where the goods are clearly not those on offer. All goods are purchased entirely at the buyer’s risk and the buyer should satisfy themselves about the detail of any specifications before bidding. There is no implied warrantee outside of the ‘Description’ and photograph. Where a photograph does not show a major physical defect this will be described. All goods, even new ones, will have minor physical defects such as scratches. The buyer must be satisfied that the goods and photograph conform to what they want to buy before bidding. Buyers will pay all postage costs relating to any return. Electrical goods typically sold by my auction are collectors items and do not conform to any current regulations the electrical goods are only sold as suitable for collectors display purposes. When sold as ‘Working’ the meaning of ‘Working’ is that the goods will only conform to the auction ‘Description’ of the function of goods and will not be warranted to conform to the original specification in any way. If described as ‘Working’ this means the goods were tested or examined in some imprecise way some months before sale and they were ‘Working’ then and put into storage. There is no implication that they will work in any way upon delivery except as arising from the implication of the previous test or examination. ‘Untested’ means that no power has been applied or any other means of testing has taken place, however there may be a part physical examination of the goods which forms part of the description. Electrical and electronic goods are sold for restoration and display purposes only. Where items are supplied as wrapped, or new, and are then opened, or used, or altered in any way by the buyer, there will be no refunds under any circumstances. All items, both abroad and within the UK, are sent through the UK postal system. Whenever possible I will arrange for the item to be signed for on delivery. I only use this carrier, I do not use any other standards for delivery.

If you want to know anything, always ask before you bid as this may affect if you decide to bid, or the amount you are prepared to pay.

PayPal is the only method of payment available to UK Currency bidders. Payment must be received within 7 calendar days from the day of the successful bid.

I will only post by recorded delivery within the UK; larger Items may be by another method.

Collection is not possible

The charge for UK post and packing is £8.50.  I do not negotiate postage rates.

I ship ONLY to my approved Nations. Where possible I will only send small and some high value items by signed for delivery. There may be exceptions for bulky or heavy objects only, this is not negotiable. Therefore bidders from outside the UK please request the delivery charge before bidding or sending payment.
