KING'S PATTERN - London: Robert Stebbings - 1+ troy oz.

This is a lovely rare ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN solid sterling silver tea or coffee spoon that was made in London, England in 1906, by the illustrious Victorian silversmith, Robert Stebbings at his Myddleton Street workshops. It measures 5 7/8" long and is over 1 1/8" across its bowl. It is in the double struck King's pattern with the diamond heel. This spoon weighs 31.4 grams - over 1 troy oz. This spoon is NOT engraved to the handle.

It is in pretty good condition with just the usual surface scratching than you'd expect for their age and no dints or dents, and much less than the usual wear and dimpling to the bowl - SUPER - just a little distortion. It is hallmarked on the reverse of the handle with RS, lion passant (sterling silver assay mark), leopard head, l showing that it was hallmarked in London in 1906. I have shown the hallmark so that you can make up your own mind. An ANTIQUE Kings pattern tea spoon from an illustrious silversmith after over 100 years and at a very low start!!!! Postage will be 2.50GBP both within the UK and to international destinations.
