GREETINGS TILEAHOLICS! ~ An extremely curious and rare ARTS & CRAFTS 6" Tile that is hand painted in green on a green tinted white ground ~ Found when excavating a late Victorian fireplace in the 80's and the tile carries some rust marks that is commensurate with that use ~ ~ No chips or cracks ~ A dust pressed tile that is not recognised by me from the rear moulding ~ The design has been attributed to MORRIS & Co and I am throwing it into the arena of the TILE COLLECTOR community ~ well received when its brother was listed last year ~ from my personal collection ~ Another very rare beast ~ Going - Going - Gone ~ Low start ~ No Reserve - No Problem ~ GOOD LUCK!!
