Range Rover / Land Rover BECM (Body Electronic Control Module)

We are now remanufacturing customers own units for £420 with an extensive 2 year warranty, these BECM's are currently failing in large numbers and causing mis-operation of headlights, door locks, electric windows, fuel filler flap, indicators, sun roof and especially rear wash/wipe. These faults may be intermittent.

Please note that the BECM relies on the fusebox in the engine compartment for all of its live feeds and it is usually the fusebox that is at fault and not the BECM so you should always replace the fusebox first, the fusebox can be bought from the main dealer at a cost of around £80.00 and should be replaced every five years anyway. If you have replaced the fusebox and are still having any of the problems listed below then suspect that the BECM is at fault.

Common failures symptoms:
Intermittent or permanent mis-operation of headlights, door locks, electric windows, fuel filler flap, indicators, sun roof and especially rear wash/wipe.
Fuse failure fault codes
Intermittent engine non-crank

Your BECM will normally be turned around with 2 - 4 days, if your BECM is tested and turns out not to be faulty then you will just be charged a test fee of £45 and your unit will be returned.
