The Sound Jacket uses Radiopaq’s Intelligent Audio technologies to produce a wide dynamic sound range (extended for example by up to 10 dB). This is achieved by measuring and adjusting in real-time the sound levels across the frequency range, enabling you to achieve the maximum possible performance from your audio equipment even at low volumes.

In essence the Sound Jacket is providing a custom EQ (Digital Equalizer) for the music at each instance, dynamically changing that EQ on the fly to best suit the music as it is being played, and thus also preventing the distortion that can be caused by over compensating with a static EQ setting.
