RUPERT & EDWARD AT THE CIRCUS - LITTLE BEAR #4

This is an auction for a hardback copy of Rupert and Edward at the Circus by Mary Tourtel.  Published by Sampson, Low, Marston & Co, undated. Part of the "Rupert Little Bear Library" series, number 4. 62 pages. Illustrated endpapers. Specially produced series of 12 books for Woolworths.

This book is in good condition. The covers are bright, clean and without significant wear or damage. Spine intact and all writing legible. Occasional small "dints".

Inside, one pencilled price to title page, one small biro squiggle on page 5, Rupert's trousers coloured in yellow on first three pages, neatly done. All other pages crisp and uncreased. Slight tanning to edges. But still a very good copy and very neat and solid.

This book features two black-and-white stories from Rupert, the title story and one other - Rupert and The Birthday Cake. Delightful illustrations, stories told in verse, it's all here. A great little Rupert book.
