This Listing is for a set of  Goodridge stainless steel braided brake hoses, to fit The Land Rover Series 2 and 3 models 1960 -1979.

Stainless is by far the best !
Standard flexible brake hoses are made from synthetic rubber and reinforced with multiple layers of fabric braid. They were designed and developed for use with drum brake systems. When disc brakes were introduced, brake line pressure requirements increased considerably. With larger, heavier cars or high performance applications much of the available brake pedal travel is used in expanding the brake hose. This leads to huge inefficiency in your braking system.

Improved Abrasion and Corrosion resistance too.
To redress these efficiency problems, Goodridge use armoured flexible hose of extruded Teflon. The stiffness of the teflon liner combined with tightly woven high tensile stainless steel outer braid solves the pedal travel issue. By eliminating the line swell it also dramatically increases the firmness and feel of the brake pedal, allowing drivers to modulate braking more efficiently. Improved abrasion resistance and increased temperature capacity are secondary advantages. You will not find a finer brake line hose available in the high performance market!
