Our exclusive 2 wheel drive Thermostat Housing for Rover V8 engines fitted with Weber/Edelbrock or Holly Carburettor's. Complete with gaskets. Please note, this is not an O/E product.

Why You need the correct thermostat housing purpose designed for all new 4 Barrel intake manifolds

Stock thermostat housings do not allow coolant to pass correctly through the non-original 4 barrel style intake manifold.

The 4 barrel intake manifolds rely upon constant coolant throughput to avoid Carburettor Icing.

Engine overheating will always occur if the coolant flow is restricted or worse, cut off!

Your engine will take much longer to warm up to reach optimum efficiency without the thermostat bypass.

Without the correct water flow air locks will occur and cause further and worrying engine overheating. - Overheated V8's, crack cylinder the blocks and/or further suffer from loosening cylinder liners (but only when overheated)

So, please don't be another one to get caught out!!

We also offer special thermostat housing types available for all 4wd applications too (please enquire or see our other listings), the only difference is the angle of the top hose fitting, pointing as though to your head, (2WD) or upwards and sharply to the right (4WD).

The difference is only because of the alternate distributors 'advance mechanism location' used during the past.
