This is a cup and saucer produced by ROYAL DOULTON in the SOPHISTICATION pattern from their VOGUE range and bearing their potters mark on the underside with the crown and lion device and the pattern name and number of TC1157 - these are first quality items.  

The pattern consists of pale pink flowers and pale green grey foliage produced all the way around the pieces and placed against a pure white porcelain ground and finished with silver/platinum gilding to the outer rims which is in excellent condition.

This cup and saucer is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze and it will make a very good addition or spares to any Doulton SOPHISTICATION service or will display beautifully.  (IF BUYING MORE THAN ONE CUP & SAUCER PLEASE AWAIT OUR INVOICE WHICH WILL HAVE COMBINED POSTAGE IN  FOR YOU)
