ROYAL CROWN DERBY vase DERBY POSIES a MINIATURE VASE with the RED MARK for year 1955 also with a tiny s in red, it has a very nice Gilded and Gadrooned pattern around the top rim and around base rim also has another smaller flower on the back of vase.

CONDITION

There are NO chips,cracks or hairlines on this item.

There are a few odd flecks of gilding missing on rim, but these are NOT CHIPS just very minute flecks of gilding loss only, and I noticed 2 very very tiny light brown glaze burrs on the gadrooned rim at top, and you need a jewelers eyeglass to really see them properly and just mentioned for absolute clarity of description thanks for looking.

It is 6.6cms or 2.6ins high to rim x 6cms or 2.3ins Left to Right across top x 4 cms or 1.55ins across base

All sizes are approx.

A lot of my items are used and are of considerable age, I describe all major

and obvious faults but most old items collect small scuffs,

surface marks and signs of wear from normal usage during their many years of service

and it would be impossible to list all of them.
