 EXCELLENT CONDITION

 

These superb pieces have the most popular pattern ever from the world famous producers of Fine English Bone China "Royal Albert", the porcelain, the decoration and the hand gilding are all of the very finest quality

 

The decoration was designed by Harold Holdcroft in 1962 and was inspired by English roses in full summer bloom,  roses in deep shades of pink and golden yellow cluster around the edge of every piece, in vivid contrast to the pure white Bone China, the rims are scalloped and have rich speckled gold lustre

 

This auction is for 1 dinner plate which has a diameter of 10.5 inches

 

The back of the plate has the factory back stamp “OLD COUNTRY ROSES   ROYAL ALBERT ®  BONE CHINA   ENGLAND ©  ROYAL ALBERT LTD 1962”

 

the back stamp is scored so this plate is a second but even on close inspection the only fault that I can detect is a minute pin prick of gilding towards the cenre of the plate this cannot be seen in the photographs and in my opinion it is in excellent condition and has only minimal use
