An original group of Second World War Medals issued to Leading Aircraftman R. Hollingworth who served during the War with the Royal Air Force at RAF China Bay in Sri Lanka, this base was attacked by the Japanese during the War.

Medals are in their original wax envelopes and are unnamed as issued.

Also with Air Council Certificate, note from CO, and medal slip showing his service number as being 1525983 LAC and confirming the awards.

Box shows that he came from Beeston in Nottinghamshire.
