Rare Mini convertible 1275 automatic

Chance to own a one of two ever made Mini

The Rover mini convertible was only ever made in manual, and figures bandied around the internet for it’s production run range from the low 240’s to just over 300, with around 700 body shells being produced

Around 2001 MBM (Minis Bristol Minis) were asked to convert a Mini Convertible to automatic for one Mr. N. Gallagher, for his wife…

Also just after, my friend approached them to do the same for them, making this one of only two known to be in existence.


This car was converted in somewhere between the 23rd November and 1st December 2001 and had the benefit of a new hood and walnut throughout inside also fitted at that time. Mileage on conversion was 34530 and stands today at 38500 so as you can see, it didn’t get a lot of use over the last few years J

Looking at the documentation, it contains
· all the proper handbook packs for the car, radio, service records and the rover owners information portfolio in the correct grey rover wallet
· all the old MOTs from December 1996 onwards (car registered 03/12/1993) most including the emissions printout
· receipts starting from 1997 when purchased by a Mr Lucas.
· All receipts from previous owner for work/servicing/MOTs

· The 2 old style V5’s

Current MOT expires 05/04/2010 and tax to suit
