FINE ENGLISH PEWTER

The Rottweiler is named after the town of Rottweil. It is a well known cattle dog on the continent. Centuries ago it was used by the Swabian knights in the chase of the wild boar. As a drovers' dog, the Rottweiler excels, however, it has been trained as a guide dog, police tracker and army dog.

This , lovely canine themed pin badge has been hand cast in the United Kingdom from fine English pewter and signed by the designer on the reverse.
