You are viewing an original 1960’s Shell Lubrication & Service Guide for the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II and Phantom V models produced between 1959 & 1968.

 

The chart measures 330 x 205mm (13” x 8”) and is printed on both sides in the Shell corporate red & yellow colours on thick high quality card.

 

It depicts a plan view of the vehicle and clearly identifies all those Engine, Gearbox, Transmission, Suspension, Steering & Braking Components etc that require periodic lubrication.

 

In each case type of lubricant to be used is specified and also the lubrication interval, in thousands of miles.

 

Additional notes give advice on maintenance of the Shock Absorbers, Air Cleaner, Oil Filter, Dynamo, Distributor and Carburettor linkages etc.

 

Finally, the capacities of the Crankcase, Gearbox and Rear Axle etc are also quoted using imperial measures.

 

The chart has only ever been used for reference purposes and is in very good condition.
