IT IS MISSING A TOP CLUTCH POST TO SECURE THE HI-HAT CYMBAL ONTO IT'S POST BUT I AM SURE AT THIS PRICE IT IS WORTH GETTING THE KIT AND FINDING OR OBTAINING THE SPARE PART FROM ROLAND.

Roland introduces another member of its award-winning V-Drums line: the TD-6KW, which succeeds the TD-6KV. The TD-6KW features a new type of mesh snare pad (PDX-8) and an improved, enlarged hi-hat cymbal pad (CY-5). This TD-6KW version also includes the essential MDS-6C drum stand (normally sold separately), an excellent match for the TD-6KW with attractive curved pipes and gun-metal black finish.

The core of the TD-6KW kit is the TD-6V Percussion Sound Module, a 64-voice module that offers over 1,000 of Roland’s best drum/percussion sounds. Dual-trigger tom inputs allow for rim shots on toms. Large, luminous buttons and a cool, blue display make the TD-6V fun and friendly to use. Roland’s mesh V-Pad (PDX-8) offers an expanded 10-inch rim for more comfortable and quiet rim-shots, as well as separate head and rim triggering for authentic performance. The durable 8.5-inch PD-8 Dual-Trigger Pads offer super-accurate triggering and a time-tested design for years of reliable use. The PD-8’s dual-trigger capabilities make it perfect for triggering rim shots on the toms or bow/edge sounds on the hi-hat when used with the TD-6V. The CY-5 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad features a 12-inch playing zone and swing movement for more drummer-friendly triggering. The pad also provides separate bow and edge triggering. By using the included FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller, drummers can get realistic hi-hat sounds with smooth transitions between open and closed. The CY-8 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad offers precise and accurate triggering for the crash and ride cymbals—complete with “swinging” motion and cymbal “choke” capabilities. And finally, drummers will appreciate the TD-6KW’s upright kick drum pad. Its vertical design not only provides a better feel compared to reverse-type kick pads, but also reduces vibration so you get nothing but solid kick sounds. And here’s more good news: The kick pad can accommodate double-bass pedals (no kick pedals included with this kit - double pedal in product picture shown only for photography purposes.) This item was supplied by a Roland main dealer (Eddie Moors Music Ltd) in August 2008 as part of a package of stock in their closing down sale.
The item is brand new, unused and sealed in its original packaging except for the CY5 & CY8 as desribed above and is missing the spare part as desribed above but it does come complete with owners manual and accessories.
The item was never registered for the 3 year warranty and although I cannot offer a personal warranty it may be possible for the winning buyer
to call Roland direct with the serial number and perhaps register for the remaining warranty.
