This is the classic Roland D550 rack mount synthesizer.

It is similar in design to the Korg M1-R and is famous for its warm strings.  The machine is also capable of producing other diverse sounds.

It uses internal samples to create it's sophisticated patches and these built-in sounds can be added to by buying further expansion data cards which are widely available.

Patches can also be uploaded from a pc using sysex files and free software. - Both available as downloads from the internet.

This particular unit is in very good condition, both technically and cosmetically.  The backlight on the display is also nice and bright.

There is no manual but again, this can be downloaded free from the web. (I've checked).

The synthesizer will be supplied with a power lead.
