A reworking of the legend of Robin Hood (Kevin Costner) telling of his adventures following his escape and return to England from the Crusades. With an indebted Moor (Morgan Freeman) by his side, Robin sets out to avenge his father's death and to save the peasants in the Shire of Nottingham from their crafty, cunning sheriff. Full of action, romance, intrigue, laughs and medieval childbirth, this film hit the bullseye at the box-office and features the record-breaking hit song '(Everything I Do) I Do It for You' performed by Bryan Adams and a stand-out pantomime performance by Alan Rickman as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham who wants to Cancel Christmas.

This Blu Ray has the audio track in castilian spanish too. Also all the extras have subtitles in spanish.
The film is really good and have great special effects too so it's a very interesting title for a full HD television. A great adaptation of Robin of Sherwood (the original film of Errol Flynn) but with a modern concept. The best role is the one of Morgan Freeman, that gives to the film a good contrast of cultures between the chistians and the musulms.
DVDs contain Regional Codes which can
be used to prevent the playback of certain discs depending upon the geographical
area it is played in. The various studios and home video companies lobbied to make
sure this coding system was a required part of the current DVD standards, because
they wish to control how their DVD titles are exported to other countries. (For
example, while a recent film may already have played theatrically in the United
States and been released to the home video market, that same film may not yet have
opened in some European or Asian countries.) In most instances, discs manufactured
in one region will usually only play on players that were manufactured for that
same region - this means that discs bought or imported from Japan will not play
on U.S. players, and vice versa.
Some DVDs, however, are coded for Region 0 - which means they will play in any of
the six regular regions. There are also DVD players that don't check the region
coding of the DVD so will play any disc from any region - these are generally referred
to as Code Free players or Multi Region DVD Players.
