ROBERT HOUSTON 1891-1942  ( RSW 1936 )  SCOTTISH LANDSCAPE WATERCOLOUR SIGNED/ DATED 1914. ROBERT HOUSTON WAS AN AYRSHIRE ARTIST WHO STUDIED AT GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART

THE WATERCOLOUR MEASURES 35 X 25 CM, AND IS MOUNTED IN ORNATE GLAZED GILT FRAME, THE WHOLE MEASURING 40 X 30 CM.

THE CONDITION OF THE PAINTING IS GOOD, THE STYLE IS FLUID WITH COLUR WASHES AND THE PERSPECTIVE IS CAPTIVATING.
