RMS Lusitania photograph circa 1907-1915

 Great sepia picture of RMS Lusitania  which was torpedoed in  1915 off the coast of Ireland with the loss of live of 1,198 persons the sinking was very  much a turning point in the war as it helped to bring the Americans into the war. The gremans tried to justify it  b y saying that it was  armed and had large quantities of war material what ever that was on board. Her measurements were 78t ft  long and she weighed 32,5o0 tons writen on the picture  but in Wikpedia  they say 44,060 tons, by  modern crusing ships  not that large b ut  at the time a very luxurious vessel. Picture has small damage to left hand corner as if it has been creased and has  been bent back also to marks on the sky, framed and glazed sight size  13.9 inches by  22.7 inches or  35 cm by 57.5 cm the cost of postage is for the frame and the glass much cheaper with out
